Childcare Stories tells the story of 17 parents from different European member states. These stories show that childcare is an essential link in the life of the parents. The viewer is also confronted with the different meanings of childcare: it is more than just taking care of children while parents are at work. They want childcare that makes them and their children feel welcome. It has to be a partner in the education of children.

Childcare Stories is a film for everyone who gets in touch with childcare: parents, professionals, social workers who guide parents towards childcare. The dvd also contains 11 individual testimonies that are the basis for discussion and reflection.
