Diversity in Early Childhood Education

Diversity is a priority issue at education and child care institutions and at local and national authorities. How to live together, how to create belonging, and how to respect each others diversity? – inside and outside provisions? The project ‘Diversity in Early Childhood Education’ is part of the National Pedagogical Framework 0-12 years and highlights the social function of Early Childhood Education.

The project is lead by Elly Singer (University Utrecht) and Anke van Keulen (Bureau MUTANT), and is financed by the Bernard van Leer Foundation. During this seminar we will be inspired by the experiences and knowledge of collegues from the European Network DECET, in which ECC institutions in 10 European countries cooperate. The seminar is meant for policy makers, board members, civil servants, trainers and managers in ECC.
