Kinderen in Europa is part of the European network Children in Europe. The magazine is published twice a year in fifteen European countries, in thirteen languages. Every issue focuses on a central theme: eating, listening to children, diversity, languages... Together with Childcare International (the Netherlands), VBJK is publishing the Dutch version of this magazine.
About 70.000 childcare professionals read Kinderen in Europa to stay informed on new tendencies in the sector. A two-year subscription (4 issues) costs €20. Contact info@vbjk.be for details.
In 2008 the partner countries of Children in Europe have published a policy paper. It is a plea for a focused European approach towards provisions for young children. It underlines the ten principles that make up the basis of this approach. The text is attached as a pdf at the bottom of this page, free for download.
