The task division between fathers and mothers has changed immensely over the last decades. We can put it into practice for childcare as well. This brochure wants to sensitize childcare staff to father's participation. Readers discover why it is useful to make parent's participation a 'father issue'. At the same time this publication is a practical instrument: childcare provisions can use it to self evaluate their practice. By doing this they get a realistic view of parent's participation in their work. The place of fathers is discussed thoroughly.

The instrument is available in French, German and Dutch. It has been developed during the European EQUAL project ecce ama!
