Action research project 2003 – 2006 in Brussels, in collaboration with the Vlaamse Gemeenschapscommissie. After an initial exploratory research, a pilot project was set up to enhance the accessibility of mainstream day care centre (0 – 3 years) for children of newcomers.

Grundtvig 2 is a project between European partners for training and supporting parents. Participants could exchange experiences, practice and methods. This helped creating a greater awareness of diversity in Europa and a better understanding of mutual interests.

 

Target group

 

This project aims to set up a European and Flemish network of male childcare workers, trainers and academics who would together look for solutions to make day and evening school courses more accessible to men.

A staff development project on respect for diversity and equity in day care centre, in collaboration with the city of Antwerp, running from 2002-2006.
