Flexibility in Childcare

The partners of the Improving Childcare network have developed country reports for a mutual exchange of knowledge on the organisational structure of each childcare system in the partnering countries.
This document presents an overview of some important aspects concerning flexible childcare. All partners developed country reports on flexible childcare for children from 0 up to 12 years. The main issues of this research are related to childcare service typologies, flexibility in time, flexibility in internal organisation, flexibility of human resources, regulations, and impact on children and their parents.
