Caroline Boudry works on themes such as pedagogical documentation, nature in ECEC and language and multilinguism. She helped producing several publications, books and dvd's.
Caroline supports teams in developing quality childcare. She is coordinator of the project Zig-Zag, a project on pedagogical documentation in ECEC. Pedagogical documentation could be described as visible records (written notes, photos, videos, audio recordings, children’s work) that enable teachers, parents and children to discuss, interpret and reflect upon what is happening from their various points of view, and to make choices about the best way to proceed. She is also involved in action research projects on community-based out-of-schoolcare and multiliguism in ECEC.
She has helped producing the films Lullaby for Hamza, Childcare Stories, The tale of language and Toowey-toowey. Caroline is the co-author of Gepeuter and Spiegeltje, spiegeltje, two basic editions on working with children, art and respect for diversity. She and Herwig Deweerdt have also published Flammable, a book and dvd that shows how to really 'look' at children.
Caroline is responsible for the Okiddo-pages in the pedagogical magazine for ECEC, KIDDO. Her articles stimulate professionals to get more involved in the daily practice of early childhood care.
